- Meeting with Village’s Attorney regarding ongoing collective bargaining and negotiations with the CSEA.
Action Item (approximate start time 6:30 p.m.):
- Action item to amend the budget authorized positions in the Police Dept.
- Action item to appoint two (2) Police Officers to attend the Westchester County Police Academy, scheduled to begin Monday, January 10, 2011.
Work Session Discussion and Policy Items (approximate start time 6:45 p.m.):
- Harbor Island Conservancy discussion and presentation on recently completed Harbor Island improvement projects, and ideas for next phase of Conservancy funded projects.
- Agreement with the Friendship Ambassadors Foundation (FAF) regarding the Mamaroneck Jazz Festival.
- Firemen’s Carnival Dates for 2011.
- Recommendations from Traffic Committee:
a. Amendment to the Village’s Vehicle and Traffic Code Chapter 326-16 establishing a maximum limit for trucks on roads where trucks are prohibited.
b. Amendment to correct the omission of hours of enforcement on Florence Street in the original codification.
- Discussion of award of Contract 10-10 DPW Garage Truck Ramp Project.
- Discussion of awarding contract for Data Management Services and Document Scanning to NY GIS Group at no cost to the Village.
- Discussion of contract agreement with Collection Systems for placing collection bins for used clothes, providing revenue to the Village.
